In close collaboration with experts, AA—A undertakes sensitive renovations of historic buildings for cultural, hospitality, and retail projects. The processes are documented and shared through publications—inviting the public to understand, learn, and participate the transformation journey. AA—A is based at the E3 CO-WORKING HUB in the heart of Vienna, where international projects are created.
KUNST IM UMBAU (Art in Progress), AA—A's publishing practice, narrates the layered history of buildings, documents construction processes, the craftsmanship, and initiates site-specific performing art interventions. KIU turns architectural transformation into a cultural dialogue —visible, tangible, and participatory.
